Graduate Admissions Application
For admission to our graduate program, the following items should be received by February 15 to be given full consideration for admission the following August. Applications received after this date will be considered if positions are available.
2. Transcripts of all your previous academic work at the college level. Unofficial copies are suitable for preliminary evaluation, but original transcripts issued by the institution will be required at a later date from students selected for admission. Applicants will be notified when original transcripts are needed.
3. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores for the general test (verbal, quantitative, and analytical) are required. The physics subject test is optional.
4.Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score if English is not your native language.
6. You need to complete the admission application that can be found on the West Virginia University Admissions Office web site (http://admissions.wvu.edu/graduate/) You may either fill the application on-line (and pay the application fee by credit card) or, on the same page, you can download the application form, print it, complete it, and mail it to the address given below.
