Years at WVU?
I was at WVU from 1994 to 1998 and graduated in May 1998.
Skills learned as a WVU Physics student that are most useful in your career?
The WVU Physics department prepared me well for graduate school and the hands-on experience prepared me well for the work force.
Reason for coming to WVU to study Physics?
West Virginia is my home state and I am a proud Mountaineer. Also, the smaller classes allowed for more individual attention, plus I spent three years working in a lab and gaining valuable experience.
Return visits to WVU as an alumni?
Living out of state, I rarely have a chance to visit, but I would like to come back.
Most rewarding Physics course(s) taken?
Astrophysics and Advanced Lab
Favorite Physics professor(s)?
The professors who were my advisors: Dr. Lederman and Dr. Ferer.
Involvement in graduate research projects?
I worked with Dr. Lederman for several years in his lab and the experience was invaluable. I advise all undergraduates to gain such experience.
