The physics content was very valuable, but also the mentoring I received from several of the faculty has been very important.

I chose WVU and added physics in my sophomore year.

Solid State Physics
Favorite Physics professor(s)?
Dr. Nancy Giles – I have modeled a lot of my teaching styles after her methods. Her drive in her own career was an encouragement. Dr. Giles is very good at research and teaching – a rare combination.
