Facilities
The Physics Department offers advanced experimental and computational research facilities. Those include several state-of-the-art Molecular Beam Epitaxy systems, two magnetron sputtering systems, a thermal evaporator, a Scanning Electron Microscope with e-beam lithography capability, an Atomic Force Microscope, a four-circle x-ray diffractometer, vibrating sample and SQUID magnetometers, a low temperature NMR system, three Magnetic Resonance Spectrometers, and magnetic Kerr effect measurement setup. Most of these facilities are available on a shared basis, while some are affiliated only with a specific laboratory.
Please contact the Department for more information.
