Subash Adhikari

Postdoctoral Researcher

Plasma Physics | Cassak Group

Biography

Subash received his Ph.D. in Plasma Physics in August 2022 from the University of Delaware.  He worked on the interplay between magnetic reconnection and turbulence for his dissertation using kinetic particle-in-cell (PIC) simulations. His findings published in a series of papers (Adhikari et al. 2020 Adhikari et al. 2021) suggest an intriguing possibility of universality between these two processes. At West Virginia University, Subash currently works with vector particle-in-cell (VPIC) simulations of magnetic reconnection in connection with PHASMA.
