Swarali is exploring research interests are broadly in the domain of transient astronomy, the interstellar medium, pulsar timing, and binary pulsar physics. She is currently working on a pulsar searching project. She is also a member of the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) collaboration.
