Zhi Gu (Patrick) Li obtained his BSc. Honors in Physics at the University of Alberta
in 2021. He came to West Virginia University to pursue his PhD in Physics
working under Dr. Weichao Tu. His research interests lie primarily within the radiation
belt dynamics, magnetospheric modeling, and studying wave-particle interactions through
quasi-linear theory. Patrick also served as the 2022-2023 DEI Student Representative for the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
