WVU Interdisciplinary team will use Quantum 2.0 to advance neuroscience

Physicists, biologists and neuroscientists team up at West Virginia University (WVU) to develop entanglement-enhanced multiphoton imaging (EMFI) of neurons through a $2M National Science Foundation grant. The team will engage research students across three departments at WVU, extend the reach of an existing undergraduate neural imaging training facility and develop a cutting-edge summer school for quantum training. These activities will have a transformational impact on WVU being a key player in what is being called the “Quantum-2.0 revolution” that is applying the strangest aspects of the quantum world to modern technology.
