TA Training Schedule

Graduate Teaching Assistants (TAs or GTAs) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy are expected to attend various meetings and training sessions at the start new semesters. Information about these events will be posted to this page.

This agenda is subject to change. Attendance at these events is required for all GTAs. If you have any questions, please contact Ben Lukk (Academic Lab Manager II) or Miranda Heitz (Academic Program Assistant II).

All GTAs should return to campus no later than the morning of Thursday, August 13, 2026.  Plan to be present in White Hall for a half-day on Thursday and during peak business hours (8:00am to ~5:00pm) on Friday, unless otherwise specified. It is essential for you to monitor your email, where critical and time-sensitive information related to the training will be shared to you.
