TA Training Schedule

Graduate Teaching Assistants (TAs or GTAs) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy are expected to attend various meetings and training sessions at the start new semesters. Information about these events will be posted to this page.

Wednesday & Thursday, January 7-8, 2026

All GTAs should return to campus no later than Wednesday, January 7, 2026.  Plan to be present in White Hall during peak business hours (8:30am to 4:30pm) on January 7 and January 8, unless otherwise specified. 

These days will center preparation of laboratories ahead of the semester, specific to the course/role you are assigned. It is essential for you to monitor your email and course-specific communication channels (such as GroupMe), where critical and time-sensitive information will be shared to you.
